Eng. Ephraim Wahome Muriuki

HEARTFELT GRATITUDE

To God Almighty for walking with Eng. Ephraim Muriuki and his family through this journey of eighty-four years. To the Clergy who stood with us throughout: PCEA Karen, led by Rev. Kamande and all the Elders, especially LCC Chair Elder Gitau, Elder Caesar of District 6, Elder Esther of District 2, PCMF and Woman’s Guild; Retired Moderator Very Rev. Dr. Julius Mwamba, Clergy and Elders of PCEA StAndrew’s; and Clergy and Elders of PCEA Ndunyu Njeru for their immense support and prayers. We are particularly thankful to District 6 and District 2 for organising and attending the daily prayers.

To the doctors, particularly Dr. Joseph and Dr. Kumkum, in India; and D R Gitau and his team in Kenya for his care back home. To our neighbours, the Silanga Road Association, led by Chairman Mr. Bernard Wahome and Vice Chair Mr. Muhoya and his wife Sarah; and to our neighbours in Ndunyu Njeru for their visits and comfort.

To our friends, especially Mr. Peter Munga and family; Mr. Philip and Mrs. Violet Ndehi; Hon. Eng. Ephraim Maina, Hon. Geoffrey Wandetto, Mrs Rosemary Keen, Mr. John Karuga, Ms. Gaciku Muhu and many others for their continued support.

To the staff and service providers at Silanga and Kinangop, especially the farmworkers who prepared his final resting ground, and to all the Wamu staff.

To the funeral committees led by Mr. Nduhiu and Mr. Muriithi Ndegwa and all the members who contributed to meetings and worked tirelessly late into the night. Our thanks may not be exhaustive, but we sincerely thank everyone who condoled with the family, including the extended families, in-laws, and all friends.

Galatians 6:2 – Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.
