It is with deep sorrow, and in humble acceptance of God’s will, that the family of the late John Muiru Kamau announces his peaceful passing, which occurred on 7th June 2026.
Beloved son of the late Jason Kamau Gikonyo and the late Jane Warigia Gikonyo.
Dear husband of the late Gladwell Wanjiru. Devoted father of Owen Kamau, Barbara Warigia, and Malcom Kihiro.
Cherished brother of the late Joseph Gikonyo, Rosemary Njoki, the late James Ng’ang’a, Grace Njeri, Nelly Wanjiru, and Leah Wairimu.
Loving son-in-law of the late Sospeter Kihiro and Naomi Wanjiku Kihiro. A dear uncle to many.
He was a sales representative at Toyota Kenya until his retirement in 2023, where he was greatly respected by colleagues and customers alike.
Family and friends are warmly invited to join us for daily prayers and burial arrangements at the family residence in Ndumberi Ward, near ACK St. Peter’s & Veronicah, Ndumberi.
The main fundraising (Harambee at 2.00 PM) will be held on Thursday, 18th June 2026, at ACK St. Peter’s & Veronicah, Ndumberi grounds. Your generous support toward funeral expenses is most welcome.
The cortege will depart Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) Mortuary on Friday, 19th June 2026, with the burial service commencing at 11:00 AM at ACK St. Peter’s & Veronicah, Ndumberi.
