It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Joseph Kipkoech Korir (Mzee Moja) an Accountant at Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation (Kaptarakwa Tea Zone) on Monday 13th February, 2017. Son of the late John Kerich and the Late Grace Kerich of Ainapkoi Village. Husband of Mary Korir. Father of Benard Koech, formerly of Crested Acres Nakuru, Winny Korir, Hillary Malel of Kericho Guest Ent. Ltd., Lilian Sitienei and Kennedy Kones of Delight Optic, Kericho. Brother of Jane Korir, Alice Chepkemoi, Simon Korir, Edda Ngetich, Geoffrey Korir, Betty Koech, Leonard Korir, Nancy Korir and Rose Cheruiyot. Grandfather of Godwin Kiprop, Brian Kipngeno, Doreen Chemutai, Brenda Chepkorir and Brenda Cherotich. Son-in-law of Kijaine Metet and the late Elizabeth Metet.
Friends and family are meeting at home everyday at 3pm. Major fundraiser will be held on Saturday 18th February, 2017 at 2pm at home.
The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home on Monday 20th February, 2017 at 2pm. Funeral service and burial will take place on Tuesday 21st February, 2017 at 11am at his farm in Ainapkoi Village, Belgut Sub County, Kericho County.
