It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Modesta Mogeni of Kegogi, Kisii County.

Beloved daughter of the late Nyamoringo Mogeni and the late Bonareri Mogeni.

She was wife of the late Stephen Bosire.

Sister of the late Florence Kemunto, Andrew Okari, Ezekiel Oseko, Joseph Mongare, Charles Kobencha and Jackline Kadogo.

Mother of Gladys Bonareri, the late Daniel Ogero, Joshua Mogeni, Enock Mokaya, Lilian Nyakambi and Mercelene Kemunto.

Grandmother of Vincent Mogeni, Mercy Cherop, Shamira Moraa, Triza Morata, Lilian Imali, Shania Morata, Purity Praise, Blessing Mgosi and Ronald VJ.

The cortege leaves Racecourse Mortuary, Eldoret on Thursday 23rd July 2026 for a night vigil at her home. Funeral service and burial will take place on Friday 24th July 2026 at her home in Kenyenya, Kisii County.
