Philip Okumu Oduor Nyadimo
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dear son, brother, husband, father, and uncle, Philip Okumu Oduor Nyadimo of Alego Nyajuok Rabuor Village.
Son of the late Benjamin Oduor Nyadimo and Dorcas Oduor.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Elizabeth Opanga Okumu, and is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Carol Okumu.
Son-in-law of John Maurice Opanga, the late Agnetta Opanga, Grace Opanga, the late Joseph Agong and Priscillah Odhiambo.
Father of Benjamin Okumu (Turkey), John Okumu (Turkey), Gabriel Okumu, Clara Okumu, Liam Omondi “Omosh”, and Ella Okumu.
Brother of the late Miriam Oduor,Alphonce Omondi Oduor, Morris Oduor, the late Beatrice Oduor, the late Steven Oduor, Treeza Oduor, Allan Oduor, Edwin Oduor, and Susan Oduor. He was a beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.
At the time of his passing, Philip was serving at the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).
A fund-raising to support funeral arrangements and interment will be held on Thursday, 11th June 2026, at the Holy Family Minor Basilica, Nairobi (St. Faustina Hall), starting at 5:30 PM. Family, friends, and well-wishers are cordially invited to attend and offer their support.
A Nairobi Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, at Christ the King Church, Embakasi, beginning at 2:00 PM.
The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday, 18th June 2026, at 5:00 AM for the final journey to Alego Nyajuok, Rabuor Village. The Requiem Mass and Rite of Committal will take place on Friday, 19th June 2026, at Alego Nyajuok, Rabuor Village, commencing at 9:00 AM.
