Wilson Warui Wambugu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Wilson Warui Wambugu of Ruguru Location, Mathira East Sub-County, Nyeri County, who went to be with the Lord on 17th July 2026,

He was the beloved son of the late Wambugu Mukere and the late Alice Wamuyu.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Wangari Warui and Mary Wanjiku. Loving father of Dr. Beatrice Wanjira & Dr. Jones Lukose, Lucy Muthoni, Nancy Wangu & Nahashon Mwangi, James Wambugu & Rosemary Wanjiru and Hezron Maina & Stella Mumbi. Loving stepfather of Leah, Rachael, Zipporah, and Becky.. Cherished grandfather to many; and dear brother of Anderson and the late Nelson.

Friends and relatives are meeting at their rural home in Kianjau and their residence in Runda.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital, Karatina, on Saturday, 1st August 2026, at 9:00 a.m., proceeding to Kianjau Primary School for a funeral service commencing at 11.00 am Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home.
