Son of the late Matteo Kiragu and the late Anastasia Wacera Matteo. Husband of Lucy Njeri Mugo. Father of Mathew Gichohi, Joseph Kimani, Nicholas Kiragu, Peter Mwangi, Louis Wambugu, John Mutungu, Samuel Gachau, Novice Anastasia Wacera and Michael Muraya.

Brother of Elizabeth Wangechi, Sr. Anna Lucia Gachambi, Caroline Wambutu, late Nicholas Kiragu, Louis Wambugu, Sr. Philomena Wangari, Euginia Wariithi, Mary Wothaya and Peter Gachau.

The cortege leaves Christine Marian Mortuary on Thursday 26th January for funeral service and burial ceremony on Friday the 27th January at Amabuko.
