Son of the late Matteo Kiragu and the late Anastasia Wacera Matteo. Husband of Lucy Njeri Mugo. Father of Mathew Gichohi, Joseph Kimani, Nicholas Kiragu, Peter Mwangi, Louis Wambugu, John Mutungu, Samuel Gachau, Novice Anastasia Wacera and Michael Muraya.

Brother of Elizabeth Wangechi, Sr. Anna Lucia Gachambi, Caroline Wambutu, late Nicholas Kiragu, Louis Wambugu, Sr. Philomena Wangari, Euginia Wariithi, Mary Wothaya and Peter Gachau.

Father-in-law of Veronica Gichohi, Esther Kimani, Olive Kiragu, Martha Mwangi and Nancy Wambugu. Grandfather of Njeri, Mugo amongst others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral and burial arrangements at Sadton Palace Hotel, Taveta Road, from 6.30 pm and at his Mucharage home.

Cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home on Friday 27th January, 2017 at 8.30am for funeral mass and burial at his farm in Mucharage Village, Chinga Othaya Nyeri County at 11am next to Mucharage Primary School.
