It is with great sadness and profound sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Brij Mohanlal Mahan on Friday 17th February, 2017 at Nova Fairfax Hospital, Virginia, USA.

Son of late Mulkhraj and Vimla Devi Mahan of Nyeri, loving husband of Manorma (Bala), father of Sanjive, Rajesh and Amit, Father-in-law of Rajeeka and Patricia. Brother of Harmesh, Suresh, Sneh, Arona and Suman, and brother-in-law of Krishna, Sunita, Raj, Harinder, Raymond and Ashok, loving grandfather of Aneeka Simran Jay Sewa and Shayana.

Brij Mahan will be fondly remembered by all friends and relatives including nephews and nieces for his unmatched love, kindness, generosity, guidance and great sense of humour. Funeral will take place on 15th February, 2017 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home in Virginia, USA.

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden demise of the Very Reverend Joseph Ogola Aduogo of the Anglican Church of Kenya. Diocese of Maseno South on 6/02/2017 at the Oasis Doctors Plaza., Kisumu. He was urban dean of the Greater Kisumu Deanery and vicar at Emmanuel Church, Shaun-Moyo, Kisumu and former vicar at St. Barnabas Siany and provost at the St. Stephens Cathedral. Kisumu. Son of Ven. Canon Emeritus Hezron Aduogo and Mama Dorcas Auma Aduogo (retired teacher).

Husband to Tabitha Awuor Ogola (Victoria Primary School. Kisumu). Father of Gerald Carey Ochieng (Maseno University), Eugene Hezron Aduogo (Kenyatta University) and Lincoln Theophilus Owiti (ChemeIil Academy). Brother of the late Peter, Thomas Aduogo (Chemelil Sugar). Anne Okoth, John Omondi. David Dawa, Rev. Benjamin Aduogo (St. Luke’s Ramba Parish), Hellen Aduogo and Jeremiah Olang’ (Acacia Shuttle), Grandson of the late Jeremiah Ogola Olang’ and the late Hellen Otuoma.

The cortege will be removed from Star Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 25/0212017, a brief stopover at Emmanuel Church, Shaun- Moyo thereafter for a requiem service at St. Stephens Cathedral (New site), Kisumu from 11 am then to his rural home in Kapuonja, Kisumu for a night vigil.

Burial service will be presided over by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Francis Mwayi Abiero (Bishop, Diocese of Maseno South) on Saturday 26/02/2017 from 10 a.m at his home.

Daughter of the late Ngungu Kitavo & the late Nzingili Ngungu; wife of the late Muungu Munyasya. Co-wife of the late Lucia Syekaa. Mother of Renard Ngungu, the late Mutwa Muli, Musau Muthengi & James Mwanza. Mother-in-law of Mary Ngungu and Everlyne Naomi Mwanza.

Step-Mother of the late Mwangangi, Syonzi Musyoka,Wango Nzili, and Kingi Mwambya. Sister of the late Ngomo, the late Munyange Songolo, the late Kasii Mbuto, the late Kakuvi Tulu, the late Wandia Syuki, Josephine Kivuve the late Nzuku, Isavi Ngio, Nduli Ngungu, the late Musau Isonge and Mwengi Ngungu.

She is survived by 58 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Kavililo, Migwani — Kitui County, and at Garden Square Restaurant in Nairobi.

The funeral will be held on 25.02.2017 at her home.

Grandmother of Johnstone Kanyiri of Switzerland, James Wachira, Florence Ngina of USA, Mike Wachira, Samuel Wachira, Hannah Gathoni and Matilda Wairimu all of U.K. Great Grandmother of Arianne Merl Wachira.

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at her daughter’s residence, Jogoo Road, Government Quarters Phase II (Infill Estate) opposite ACK St. Stephen Church starting at 6.30 p.m. and at her home in Thunguma, Kagayu, Nyeri County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Outspan Mortuary, Nyeri on Monday, 27th February, 2017 at 8.00 a.m. for Funeral Service to be held at P.C.E.A.Thunguma Church at 10.30 a.m. and burial thereafter at her home in Thunguma, Kagayu, Nyeri County

On Sunday 19th February. 2017, a beautiful angel was snatched from our midst when Bridget Wambii, aged I year 17 days passed on peacefully in the arms of her parents at Outspan Hospital, Nyeri. During her short days here on earth, she touched many lives; was deeply loved and cherished by family and many friends.

She is survived by her father Kennedy Ngugi and mother Beatrice Nduta of Wahundura High School, her only sibling Austin Muiruri, paternal grandfather Francis Muiruri, maternal grandmother Rose Wanjiru Mwangi, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandparents.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at KBA school complex and Ebony House Meeting Chambers 3rd Floor Room 13 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Friday 24th February, 2017 and thereafter a burial at Kaharo, Maragwa.

With Bridget passing, we remind you that her short life is one to be celebrated. Although she has left us, we will still miss her especially her winning smile. She shall forever remain in our hearts. Fare thee well baby Bridget.
