It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Abamogacho clan announce the passing on of Omong’ina Aska Nyaboke Morekwa Mokua of Bomogacho Village, Nyamache District, Kisii County at the Coptic Hospital Nairobi on 16th February 2017 due to diabetes related complications.
Daughter of the late Onchong’a and the late Nyaboe. Wife of the late Morekwa Mokua. Mother of the late Ombane, the late Peninah, Dorcas(Kenyerere Vilage) Morang’a Morekwa (DC and currently MOH), Rebecca (Nyamache D.C’s office) Miriam (Eguty Pry) Glady’s (Nyansakia Pry) and Everlyne (Turbo Hospital).
Mother-in-law of the late Mellen, Esther Morekwa (Arap Moi Pry), the late Ontomwa, the late Mong’eri, Charles Mwoma, Kennedy Anyona and Daniel Obuya, Sister of Kemunto, the late Nyanchama, the late Bosibori, the late Kwamboka, Onchong’a, Elizabeth and Mokeira. Grandmother of Morekwa, Gekara, Daniel, Judith, Nyanduko, Elfilah, Hellen, Vincent, Carolyne, Nyanchera, Kwamboka, Janet, Rachel, Bironga, Victor, Calvin, Newborn, Erna, Emmanuel, Gloria, Cynthia, Norwen, Kelly, Perry,Tarsh, Delight and several Great Grandchildren.
Sister-in-law of the late Bironga, the late Mayaka, the late Nyaboke, Ombati Mokua, Kwamboka Nyang’ara and Nyamongo Mokua. Korera of the late Ondieki, the late Sanduku, the late Ondabu, Bosire, Mwoma, late Nyaundi and the late Obuya. Aunt of Paul,Yunuke, Zablon, Margaret, Mbera Orwoba, Delila, Monyoro, Meshack Nyang’ara, Peninah, Swanya., Morerna-, Florence, Zachariah, Nyabuto Abusa, Dinah, Jared , Elmeldah and many others.
Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at Railways Club, Nairobi from 5.00 p.m. and at Bomagacho/Otanchi home for funeral arrangements. Final fundraising will be held on 1st March, 2017 at Railways Club and at home from 5.00 p.m.The cortege leaves the Coptic Hospital Mortuary on 2nd March, 2017 for burial at Bomogacho/Otanchi village, Nyamache District on Friday, 3rd March, 2017.
