We regret to announce the death of Kefa Ondari Okong’o retired army officer which occurred on 15th May 2017 at the Ramu Hospital Kisii after a short illness.
Son of the late Okong’o Omenge and the late Bathseba Okong’o of Sironga village. Husband of Dorcas Kerubo Nyamwamu and Frorence Kerubo. Father of Moureen Ondari (assistant county commissioner), Eric Okong’o Ondari (Advocate of the High court of Kenya), Brian Nyamongo Ondari (student at JKUAT), Brenda Kwamboka Ondari (student at Daystar University). Brother of the late Nyamongo, Joyce Marime, Alice, Joyce Nyandege (Government Press), Rose (Germany), Senator Mong’are (Nyamira County), Hyline (Germany),Vane (USA), Esther (Nyabururu Girls) and Omenge.

Burial will be 28th May 2017 at Sironga village Nyamira County

Erastus Mugwe Macharia

1933 – 22/05/2017      We announce the death of Erastus Mugwe Macharia. of Karinga village, Kinyona Loc. Kigumo Sub-county, Murang’a County.
Husband of Ruth Wanjiku Mugwe. Brother of the late Samuel Mwangi, the late Wilson Magothe, the late John Ngunjiri, Elisaphan Njuguna, Serah Wanjiku and Naomi Ndundu. Father of Mercy Wanjiru Warui, David Macharia, Jacob Muthua (Freddie) of Britain and Joseph Mwangi (Wa-Ruthi). Father-in-law of Warui Mwangi, Esther W. Macharia and Hannah N. Mwangi. Uncle and grandfather of many.
Cortege will leave AIC Githumu Mission Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 27th May 2017 at 9.00am. Prayers and burial at the graveside at his farm at Karinga Kinyona at 11.00am.

James Kigundu Mugo

1926 – 16/05/2017   It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of the late James Kigundu Mugo of Kangaita Village, Kirinyaga County on the 16th May 2017 after a short illness bravely borne.
Son of the late Mugo Mutuangure and the late Wamuthua Mugo. Loving husband of Esther Mabuti. Father of Stanley Mugo formerly of KIST Dr. ,Eunice Sahle (USA), Eliud Mwangi (KDF), Ruth Tadesse (USA), Jennifer Kigundu (Toronto) and the late Lucy Kigundu. He was father-in-law of Esther Mugo, the late Sahle Tawedol, Nancy Mwangi, Tadesse Gebaw. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.
Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at his Kangaita Home starting from 4.00 pm.
The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital Funeral Home, Kibingo on Saturday 27th May, 2017 at 9.00 am and thereafter a funeral service will be held at ACK Kangaita Church and later burial at his Kangaita Home.

Mother of Mrs Milka Cheberek, Amb. Benjamin Kipkulei, the late Mrs Rhoda Maiyo, Mrs Lilian Chebet, the late Ms Prisca Kipkulei and the late Harun Kipkulei. Mother-in-law of the late Shadrack Cheberek, Miriam Kipkulei, the late Boaz Maiyo, the late Alfred Chebet and Alice Kipkulei. Grandmother of Forty-two (42) children, Great Grandmother of Fifty-Eight (58) children and Great Great Grandmother of Six (6) children.
A fundraiser will be held on Thursday 25th May 2017 at All Saint’s Cathedral opposite Serena Hotel, Nairobi at 5.30pm. Burial will take place at her Aiyebo home in Kabartonjo, Baringo county on Saturday 27th May 2017.
