Daughter of the late Musa Amoke and the late Mama Christina Amoke of Okuto village, Seme Kobita. Daughter in law of the late Stephen Ojwang’ Niga and Mama Rael Ojwang’ of Othoro Kabondo.

Sister of the late Stephen Ochieng, the late Martin Omondi, Mary Babu, Jane Jamwa, Omulo Amoke, Leah Okumu, William Amoke and Merab Ochieng. Sister in law of Sila Njira, Owuor Ogaga, Dr Phares Ocholla, the late Samson Ojwang’, the late David Ojwang and Emmanuel Ojwang, among others.

There will be a fundraiser on Tuesday 21st February at Public Service Club, behind Central Bank of Kenya, Kisumu from 6pm.

The burial will take place on the 24th February 2017 at Othoro in Kabondo. Meetings are taking place daily at their residence in Mkendwa, RIAT Hills.

Loving mum of Mary Katula, Charles Mwendwa, Winfred Ndumi and Ann Mueni. Sister of Jennifer Monicah, Bridgit Katunge and the late Mulang’a Mwanga. Mother in law of Jonathan Muthanga, Julia Wairimu, Solomon Kimutai and Stephen Mbonge.

Daughter in law of the late Masindano Kavivya and Annah Mueni. She was blessed with seven grandchildren; Patricia, Brighton, Elizabeth, Brandon, Angel, Patience and Abishag. Auntie to many and wedding mother to four families.

The cortege bearing the remains of John-Dan wilt leave the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary also known as New Nyanza Provincial General Hospital on Friday 17th February 2017 at 2.00 pm for the family residence in Tom Mboya Estate-Kisumu off the Kisumua-Kakamega Road on Omori Resa Road Number 23.

There will be a wake on Friday followed by an interment service on Saturday 18 February 2017 starting at 10.00 am. The interment will be held at the Mamboleo Cemetery Kisumu at 2.30pm (14.30 EAT).

Wilmot Rotuno Kaptum

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Wilmot Rotuno Kaptum on 8th February, 2017 in a tragic hit and run road accident along Nakuru-Eldama Ravine highway. He was, born on 19.01.2002 and was a student at AIC Chebisaas Boys’ School in Eldoret until his demise. Loving son of Chief Inspector Isaac Kimutus, OCS Sagana, and Clara Kimutus (Keletwa Farm). Brother of Nancy Kaptum, Carlos Kaptum, Titus Kaptum, Kevin Kaptum, Onesmus Kaptum and Cliff Kaptum. Grandson of the late Paul Chesumat (British) Kumutus and Sogome and Chesumos.
