Tfosa Wangui Mbatia Nyauma

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Tfosa Wangui Mbatia Nyauma of the Kenya Network of Grassroots Organisations (KeNGO).

Beloved wife of Polycarp Nyauma. Mother of Celine Gesare. Daughter of the late Josphat Mbatia and the late Nelly Wambui. Sister of Wanja (KNA), the late Kinuthia, Wanjiku, Wangari and Kiambuthi of Kinoo, Kiambu. Daughter in law of George and Celine Nyauma of Oloosirkon, Kajiado. Sister in law of Fridah, Shila, Angela, Njoki, Wanjiru, Kibe and Nyutu.

Family and friends are meeting at Holy Family Basilica daily from 5.30pm and at the parents’ Kinoo and Oloosirkon homes. Main harambee will be held on Tuesday 21st February at 680 Hotel from 5pm.

Burial will take place on Friday 24th February 2017 at Oloosirkon, Kajiado County.

 

Baraka Moses Chacha

5th August 1986 – 4th February 2017

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce promotion to glory of Baraka Moses Chacha which occurred on 4th February 2017.

Son of Paul David Chacha (Mambo) and Mary Robi. Husband of Faith Kaheke Nchagwa. Brother of Happiness Bhoke, Chrispeace Tabitha, Emmanuel Joe, Debora Ghati, Ann Pendo, Monday Chacha and David Steward. Son-in-law of Nchagwa Ngoko and late Beatrice Robi. Brother-in-law of Jotham Marwa, Maurice Kihingu and Josphine Joy.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the late’s home in Ngong Race Course Nairobi. The cortege leaves Umash funeral home Nairobi 15th February 2017 for requiem mass at Lavington SDA church (at 12.00 – 2pm) and the following day 16th February 2017 proceed to his home in Mabera Kuria west sub-county of Migori county for burial on 17th February 2017.

Virginia Wangui Karungu (Mama Wangari)

1963 – 2017

It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Virginia Wangui Karungu (Mama Wangari) that occurred on Saturday 11th Februay at The Nairobi Hospital after a short illness. Wife of James Karungu Njoroge, mother of Hellen Wangari, Margaret Njeri, the late Lilian Njoki, Jane Wanjiku and Emelda Njeri. Grandmother- of Shanice Wangui. Daughter of Joseph Ngechu and Margaret Njeri. Sister of Jane Wanjiku, Winnie Wanjiru, Peter Ngenga, Lucy Mukami, Anne Wambui, Catherine Wairimu, Simon Ngugi and James Mbatia. Daughter-in-law of the late Bedan Njoroge and Hellen Wangari. Sister-in-law of Mary Njeri, Philomena Waruguru, Lilian Njoki, Jane Wanjiru and Susan Wangui. Aunty of many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayer and funeral arrangements at her husband’s home in Gatuya village, Murang’a and Abbey Hotel Gaberone Road, first floor Nairobi. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary on Friday 17th February at 9am for burial and funeral service at her husband’s home in Mugoiri Gatuya Village, Murang’a.

Daughter of the late Mavuze Lwimbo and the late Musimbi Bunyoro of Senende. Mother of John K. Esolyo (formerly of Ministry of Transport ), Hellen Karegi (formerly of National Registration Bureau), Pamela Mageda (Posta, Maragoli), Abigael Diru (NHIF Nairobi), the late Peter Chore and Steve Kadenge ( Walodeya Primary). Pastor Dorcas Karimi Mungiria (Mama Roy)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dorcas Karimi, wife of Pastor Samuel Kanga (Deliverance Church, Kiutine), which happened through a tragic road accident at Kiengu Market on Friday 10th February, 2017.

Mother of Royson Mwiti, Emmanuel Mwenda (Abothuguci High School) and Joshua Mutethia (Igembe Boys), the daughter of the late Joseph Mutia and Teresiah Nkoyai, sister of Margaret Kananu, Doris Muthoni, Patrick Mwendia, Eunice Wanja, Mercy Kagendo, and Stella Kathambi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their home Kiengu and Midland Hotel Maua for burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Maua Methodist Hospital on Friday 17th February, 2017 at 10.00 am for a joint funeral service at Maua Stadium. Thereafter burial will be at Kiengu, lgembe Central.
