It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Major Nicholas Mutuku Mulinge of Kenya Defence Forces on 12th January, 2017 at Forces Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Beloved husband of Peninah Mwikali Mutuku of Nzeeni Primary School. Loving father of James Mutua, Esther Ndunge and Annabel Muoti. Son of Rev (Retired W01) Peter Mulinge and Litha Mulinge. Brother of Margaret Mueni, Lillian Kanini, Mary Muoti, Stephen Sila, and John Makau.

Son-in-law of John Ndua and Angelica Kamene of Kithumani. Uncle of Doris Nduku, Glorious Ndunge, Eric Mwendwa, Esther Mwende, Daniel Mwendwa, Faith Wendo, Emmanuel Mumo, Daniel usyoki, Jayden Muuo and Litha Katheu. Much loved cousin and brother-in-law of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence in Lang’ata Uhuru Gardens Phase 1, Hse B20 and at Tumaini House Meeting Chambers 5th floor (behind KENCOM) from 6pm between 16th and 18th January 2017.

The cortege leaves the War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 21st January 2017 at 6am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Nzeeni Village, Nzaui Sub County, Makueni County.

We, the family of the late Esther Wambui Mbarathi, wish to express our most sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for the love and support received from all of our relatives, friends, neighbours, church members and all well-wishers.

We acknowledge with the deepest thanks your kind messages of sympathy, spiritual support, personal visits, gracious and generous contributions, every word of comfort and expression of care and kindness that we received during the passing on and laying to rest of my dear wife, our mom and grandmother. It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Mzee George Miano Kibuga, which occurred on Saturday 14th 2017 due to illness. Retired hospital superitendent and businessman.

Son of late Kibuga Gikandi and Miriam Wairimu Kibuga. Brother of Ngonyo Karoki, Erastus Kibororo, Job Kimotho and Ephraim Ngure. Husband of Leah Muthoni Miano. Father of Grace Wairimu Gitonga, James Kibuga Miano, John Murimi Miano, Irene Wamaitha Waweru, Esther Wanjiru Njagi, Margaret Wangechi Miano (deceased), Washington Wahome Miano, Stanley Kigotho Miano and job Kimotho Miano. Father-in-law, grand and great grand father of many.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are ongoing at Nairobi (PCEA St Andrews Church) and his Kiaruhiu home. Family, relatives and friends will meet on Friday 20 January to celebrate his life at Kenyatta University Funeral Home Chapel at 8am.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary after celebration service for burial at his home near Kiaruhiu town in Nyeri County.

Going Home to that Happy Summer

In humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on to glory of Brother Nicodemus, Pastor, Chebukaka Believers Tabernacle. Beloved husband of the late Sister Jane Nangekhe and father of Elishadared, Micaiah, Grace, Peter, John, Amos, Samson and Stephen.

Son of the late Zakaria Wepukhulu Makhakari (Omusaba) and Sarah Nang’unda (Omubuya), and brother of the late Robai, Samuel, Jotham, Rajab Kisaka, the late Laban, Moses Masibo, Noah Watosia, Henry Nabiswa, Joseph Wambulwa, the late Esther, Margaret Wepukhulu, Edith Masolo and Aineah Wepukhulu.

He will be buried on Friday 20th January 2017 at his home in Biliso Village, Sichei Location, Bungoma County in a ceremony running from 10am to 3pm.

Father of Rose Njoki (Nairobi), Alice Njeri (Githumu), Julius Kihara (Kangari), Ruth Wanjiru (Nairobi), Racheal Wangari, Virginia Wanjiku, David Kuria (Nyeri), Peter Muchiri and Mercy Waitherero. Brother of Virginia, Mary, late Alice, Jane, Emmah, Grace and Flora. Father in-law of Kahora (Chief Githumu), Florence (Teacher Gatimu), Njoroge son of the late Ex-Senior Chief Gichohi, George and Margaret (Teacher Mwarano).

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Mathaithi, Githurai 45, and Antonio’s Grill Nairobi from 5:30pm, daily. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home Friday 20/01/2017, 8:00am. Burial will take place at his home in Kangari Mathaithi village.

Son of Samuel Ibinda and Serah Njambi Ibinda. Husband of Lydiah Njambi Gikaru. Father of Samuel Njenga (IMCO holdings), Hildah Njeri Mungai (Dagoretti Sub — District Hospital), Paul Kamau (Sun Africa Hotels), Hellen Wanjiru Waweru and Susan Muthoni. Grandfather of Allenson Gikaru, Favour Njambi, Jeyson Njoroge,Tamira Ngonyo,Victor Gikaru, the late Natasha Njambi and Alvin Ngugi. Brother of Michael Ndung’u, Susan Muthoni Njogu (Rusegiti), George Njuguna (Kalro Kabete), Simon Njenga (Thika), Peter Kariuki (Kalro Muguga), Leah Wariara (Kefri Muguga), John Mburu, Margaret Wangui Naai (Muguga) and Grace Wanjiru Ngugi (Sigona). Son-in-law of the late Paul Kamau and Late Hellen Wanjiru (Gatundu). Father-in-law of Carol Njenga, Wallace Mungai, Irene Kamau and Kevin Waweru.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Muguga Jet Scheme (Ika lmwe) from 4:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. The body is lying at PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary and shall be removed on Monday 23rd January 2017 at 9:00am. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Nguriunditu Church on 23rd January 2017 at 10:00am and thereafter burial at his home Muguga Jet Scheme (Ika lmwe) the same day.

Sister of Kamunya, Eunice,Wamathai, late Wanjugu, Gichuki, Ndiritu, Muthoni, late Wahome, Waweru, Githaiga, late Wairimu, Warnbugu and Mwangi. Mother-in-law of Samuel Muriuki, Regina Wanjugu and Hilda Nyawira. Grandmother of )ohnie, Grace, Fabian, Alvin, Rispa,Angela, Lewis and Naomi.
